This has triggered a fresh trade war between the world's two largest economies.
In July, the GST collection was 1.02 lakh crore rupees. This is better than last month's collection. This is 5.8 percent more than the GST collection of 96,483 crore rupees a year ago. The central GST collection was Rs 17,912 crore, state GST of Rs 25,008 crore and unified GST of Rs 50,612 crore. The gross GST collection in April-July was 4,16,176 crore rupees. It was Rs 3,89,568 crore in the same period of last financial year.
